The primary reason for you to play FLITE Basketball is because you love the game basketball—especially this type of game! FLITE basketball tries to emulate a collegiate style of play with switching full court and half court defensive schemes. We often practice as if there is a 35 second shot clock to help create an up-tempo style of play.

FLITE basketball is the winningest boys traveling varsity basketball program in the history of Idaho. We have placed more kids in Division I, II, NAIA and JUCO programs than any other organization. Another reason to play in the FLITE is your desire to compete for Idaho and to play in front of collegiate coaches. For many players, the biggest reason to play in the FLITE is exposure and a chance to build stats and video against the top youth basketball players in the world. Not to mention, you will get in great shape (our game really moves fast)!

A great side benefit of playing for FLITE is that you can still maintain your commitment to your local high school program, your Faith, and family since FLITE will honor such schedules as not playing on Sunday, or commitments with your high school team.

Cost is such an important variable when making this decision. With FLITE you only pay for your own personal expenses. Coaches are not paid and, in fact, pay their own way to traveling events. No parents are paid or allowed to finance Boise FLITE; this avoids any biases.

Individual development and workout sessions will be provided for those who want them at no charge after our practices. Other programs charge up to $65 an hour. We offer this as a valued-added benefit of playing with FLITE! Our collective goal is to help develop the top basketball players in Idaho and not profit from it!
